Bilbrook Medical Centre

Patient rights and responsibilities

We aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect regarding age, gender/gender reassignment, race/nationality, sexual orientation, religion or belief. We expect patients to show the same courtesy to all members of the practice team.

Please be courteous to staff at all times – remember they are working under doctors orders.

Zero tolerance is operated within the practice and patients who are rude and abusive to the staff will be asked to leave the practice.

Patients are expected to keep appointments that they have made and if the appointment is no longer needed to cancel giving enough time to allow the space to be filled.

There is a great demand for appointments and we appreciate at times patients forget they have an appointment.  However, if you miss three separate appointments a letter will be generated asking you to inform us if you no longer require your appointment so that it can be used by other patients. If you continue to miss appointments you may be asked to leave the practice.

It is important to keep the practice informed of any changes of address or contact details.
