CKD often has no symptoms in the early stages and is only picked up through routine tests. As the damage to the kidney’s progresses, you may notice:
- Tiredness
- Swollen ankles, feet or hands
- Nausea
- Shortness of breath
- Blood in your urine
- Passing urine more frequently than usual, particularly at night
